Anyone notice the boom mic in that clip then when the car pulled up?

    Its Fair City.

Would have been a bigger shock not to see the boom mic !

He'll be back on Fair City, playing lamppost number 1 outside the Spar, before the end of the year.

Yeah but that interview was carried out earlier that day and a special audience of Scousers were brought in. The RTE staff had to nail everything to the floor..

They had an audience of Liverpool fans in for Stevie G and it was recorded earlier in the day. The blue rinsers are in now for Shay

"Why was playing for Ireland amazing?"

At least it's a step up from "Why were you crying?" I suppose.

Shay is one of the good 'uns. Shame he never got to play for one of the bug clubs.

He played for Man City recently but couldn't get in the team even though he is a better keeper than Joe Hart.

Is Shay going to a Blues Brothers theme party after this ?

Theirry Henry.. wtf is Tubridy doing going over this sh1te again?? Is it "This Is Your Life"?

Looking back on it, and how FIFA took the p1ss out of us after it, the Irish team should have downed tools that night... Everybody could see it on the big screen, and they would have got support.
