Broken Bath

I'm renting an apartment that has a fibreglass bathtub/shower. Long story short, I broke one of the 'handles' on the sides of the bath. The handle is intact but it's sort of pushed through the side of the bath, so really there's a big hole in the side of the tub. I don't want to end up paying the landlord a fortune to fix it; any ideas on repair?

It's the side against the wall so I won't be able to get 'behind' it to repair with filler.

I don think you will have any experience repairing this. But you can try one of the repair companies. The problem you have is the bath will have to come out and if this happens it will be cheaper just to replace it.

Yeah i've no experience whatsoever. How much (ballpark) would you be looking at replacing a bath? Was planning on moving out in the next month or so anyway.

About 200-300 for supply and fit of a standard cheap bath. It depends on the level of difficulity for the plumber.
