    Hi Everyone,

Almost ready to go out and buy all the parts for my first computer build. I intend to use the computer for doing CAD, 3D Modelling (Rhino, 3DS Max, etc) Photoshop and the likes, and maybe play a game or two from time to time.

The shopping list looks like this at the moment:

    Intel Core i7-3770K Box, LGA1155 - €311
    ASUS P8Z77-V PRO, 1155, ATX, DDR3 - €177
    16GB-Kit Corsair XMS3 PC3-14900U CL9-10-9-27 (DDR3-1866) - €140
    NZXT Phantom 410 Midi - White - €96
    AMD FirePro V5900 2GB PCIe x16 - €415
    Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 Watt V2 - €106
    Corsair Force3 120GB SSD 6,4cm (2,5") SATA - €110
    Seagate Momentus 7200.4 G-Force 500GB SATA II - €86
    Corsair Hydro Series H100 - €90
    Arctic Cooling MX-4 Tube - €5
    Asus BC-12B1ST Blu-Ray Combo Retail - €65
    D-Link 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI-Express Adapter - €27
    LogiLink USB 2.0 all-in-one Card Reader - €6
    ASUS Xonar DG, PCI x1 - €26
    TP-Link TL-WN951N, 300Mbps PCI-Adapter - €23

    Total: -1800.00

Apart from a keyboard and mouse, (I have a monitor) am I missing anything? Does anyone reccomend buying it all off one place or shopping around, ie. hardwareversand + dabs etc.

I am a second year architecture student planning on doing my thesis next year on computational modelling and design. Is now the best time for me to buy a computer?

    Thanks.
