Just a shade under 24 here in Longford. No winds and reports of bog fires in the areas from the local radio.

Today was fairly disappointing in Cork City.
It's reverted to overcast and chilly with light rain!
    Yesterday was absolutely glorious sunshine.

Another very warm and sunny day in Castlebar with a light Easterly.

Light rain in south Kilkenny. Pity. BUT it was really interesting watching the weather change from mid twenties, blue sky this morning at 11am, to dull, cool overcast by 5 pm.

Yet another extension of the warm weather tomorrow as most places north of Offaly will see temperatures climb into the mid 20's once more. A bit more cloud around but the fact that the winds have slackened somewhat it'll still feel warm.

Southwards should see some sunny spells but mostly cloudy, rain should clear by afternoon and temperatures should rise to about 20. Bit more wind about though might make feel a little cooler than it may be.

What should have been game over by Saturday looks like most places will see at least one more day of warm weather, and maybe even north midlands and north will see mid 20's on Tuesday too.

Fantastic day today, the warmest it's felt here since last Wednesday when the winds started to make it feel slightly cooler over past few days. Should be another great day here tomorrow despite it being slightly cloudier.

Friday 26.2c Sunny (like the full 15 or 16 hours)
Saturday 25.2 Sunny (like the full 15 or 16 hours)
Sunday 25.6c Sunny (like the full 15 or 16 hours)

You dont get many weekends like that in Sligo in 100 years

There's something quite surreal about sitting outside My House in my shorts and t-shirt (with the obligatory beer!) watching the sun going down!!

Max here of 25.2c at 17.55 today. Build up of cloud threatened a shower shortly after but naturally nothing happened. Some wisps of cirrocumulus radiatus currently under a pinky orange sky. 20.2c.

Blistering heat here today, kids didn't even want to stay out in it. There was a strong breeze blowing in Salthill around 5pm when it clouded over, I have never seen the beach empty so fast! Beautiful pink sky as the suns sets here.

If you play this webcam timelapse, which is based in Conammara, you can really see those clouds rolling on from the east during the early evening. (may take a while to load)

Absolutely stunning day again here as well, as pauldry says its not too often we get what's so far been 4 totally clear days in a row above 25C here! Spent the entire day outdoors between the beach and hills and ended with watching the sunset over the Atlantic from the cliffs :)

Its going to be pretty daycent up till the weekend by the looks of it - when a plunge of northern cold air looks like hitting us for 5/6 days then the high pressure seems set to rebuild.

Wow, just had a shower of rain here in Enniskerry. Had to put the lid on the chimnea, bring in the cushions, cork the white wine, blow out the candles and call it a night. This weather is magical - even with the odd weird shower of rain.

Spent 6 hours yesterday at a gorse fire everything is tinder dry. Most fire services around the country are flat out with gorse & bog fires .

The south really has gotten a raw deal right throughout this warm spell, lot of cloud in the south but it doesn't seem to be making a massive amount of progress. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_uk_ir.html

Scorcher again, already 23.5C under totally clear skies. Looks like it'll be our fifth day in a row above 25C!

Heavy rain for a time yesterday evening and then quite chilly afterwards.

And today I'm looking out at rain again in a stiff east breeze. Current 13.2 C - don't see it rising much above that here today

    (Ardmore, west waterford coast.)

Only two actual sunny days over the past week here - fri and sat - disappointing.

fantastic day here, feels like the warmest day so far with no wind at all, 22C and solid blue skies.

Gorgeous day here in east Co. Galway too, nice breeze but blue skies all the way :)

Band of cloud on its way mind

Sun splitting the sky all morning in Dublin City Center :)
And I'm stuck in work :(

Anyone know what the weather is gonna be like for the long weekend coming up ?

*please let it be sunny and warm*

A little cloudier but still nice with temps in high teens/low twenties.

Another cracker of a day here. 22.7c atm with a SSW breeze (which is probably helping temps).
