Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Personally I don't think the area near Pere Lachaise is great to stay in/around, so can't advise on hotels. The cemetery is easily accessible by Metro (Philippe Auguste‎ or Pere Lachaise stops) so maybe consider staying somewhere central and metro there.

Been there a few times and the grounds are gorgeous so definitely a good afternoon's entertainment however I wouldn't worry about accommodation nearby necessarily as the metro is excellent and there are bargains to be had this time of year.

Oscar Wilde is buried there too btw.

There are hotels in that area of Paris, but it depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of hotel you're looking for. If you're looking for something reasonable with English-speaking staff on hand there's Saint Christopher's Inn and Belushi's 159 rue de Crimée in the 19th (they have double rooms).
