I do not see an existing match thread.

Am I the only person more interested in this than more the playoff final? - even though west ham are my local team over here!

This will be good to see how Nutsy gets on. 10mins in and Hibs are struggling to settle. They could be in trouble if Hearts can keep getting into the box as easily as they have. Some sloppy offsides from Hibs too when they have managed to get up the pitch.

    0-0

Would like to see Nutsy do well over there, hopefully Hibs can come back.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

They really need to get the ball down and relax on it. It's LSL hoofball so far, Hearts are much more confident

In saying that, long free into the box and that was a chance

McPake the only player to have turned up for Hibs so far.

Leigh griffith's or Ian Black to lose the plot first? Not sure who my money's on!

Would love to see Hibs sneak this. Need to stop losing possession and tighten up on Skacel though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,593 ✭✭✭theteal

the ref had a think about that. Dive and outside!

Both hibs full backs are absolutely atrocious

edit: i'll retract the dive - there was a slight unintentional knock of feet but he threw himself over. 4 now

Game over now for sure. :(

Absolutely disgraceful decision by the ref, it's appalling you could see by how long he took he was unsure yet gave it and sent player off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Eirebear

    Disaster.

Kujabi's been a joke for Hibs today.

he asked his linesman for his opinion.
Kujabi was already on a booking.

    4-1 McGowan

was a freekick his shirt was pulled well outside the penalty area....ref was wrong giving the penalty.

Scottish FA really have to do something about the standard of refereeing they lead this cup to Hearts since the semi final

It was outside the box prob a yellow but never a peno

Skacel with acres in the box again for that attempt. Dreadful defending. Feel for Fenlon this could get much worse.

he didn't give it for the shirt pull, it was the accidental knock of feet that was penalised, it was still outside though

    that's a yellow, he's soooo slow

lol - what is it with this forum and conspiracies?

Hibs have been absolutely woeful with the exception of 5 minutes at the end of the first half.
Hearts could have been 3 or 4 up by the time Hibs scored, Griffith's could easily have walked for his shove on Black.

I wasn't suggesting a conspiracy at all don't think it's deliberate my point is that two monumental **** ups have gone Hearts way!

Hibs av been **** today but that peon was at 2-1 start second half killed the game

Red for a shove get away, Black shouldn't have been there for his dirty elbow first half then

Look believe me, i'd send Black off as soon as he crossed the game kicked off every week - but at the end of the day, we've all seen players sent off for shoves like that.

Looking at the penalty again, it's a tough one to call - he pulls him back outside the box, and then catches his heel - is it on the line? It's obviously what it was given for.
Soft one i guess. But tbh hearts have been far and away the better team unfortunately, and it's hard to grudge them the victory. Except for Black, and Webster - they don't deserve anything, ever. ;)

Could Pat Fenlon be sacked again? Finished 2nd bottom in the league and look set to be humiliated by their biggest rivals?

Nah. He was brought in when Hibs were really toiling midway through the season.
I'd say he needs to have a good start to the season though.

    5-1
