why is there a Motion Sensor in my bin shed???

    i know this is prob the wrong place to put this but i dont know were the right place is :p

    i moved into a new aparment last week and when i was puttin my bins into
    the bin building i spotted a Motion Sensor on the roof??

    so why would they have a motion sensor in a bin shed??
    only reason i want to know is because it is doing my head in trying to work out why :)

    More likely to be a photo cell. It may be for other lights.

    Has to be for the lights. Basically when someone enters the area it turns on the lights. If the lights are always on there may be a bypass for turning them on or the motion is not working correctly.
