What you need is "Delay Set" macadam.

I can't recommend anywhere in Cork but a google search says they have it here.

Pelican road repair - google them, they have the good stuff - I use it in huge transport yards to fill potholes and it stands up to artic lorries, so its good gear. It's called eazystreet.

Thanks, never heard of that stuff.

The last time I bought macadam (AC 10 Delay Coldcote) to be exact, it was €55 a tonne (+vat). I had got just less then a tonne.

How does Eazystreet compare? (I didn't notice any prices on their webpage).

In my situation I buy about a tonne of "delay set" a year for an avenue. Cars and maybe the odd lorry are driving straight across the pothole repair so it does last for several years.

But in a yard situation where you have vehicles turning I can see the easystreet been necessary. Very expensive though.
