32 inch full HD for xbox

Hi I dont know if i am posting in the right forum but anyway
i am looking for a 32 inch full HD tv for playing xbox.

The refresh rate is only 50hz and i was wondering is this enough.
Is this tv a good brand?
Should i get a smaller tv but a better brand?(I will only be sitting about 6 feet away from the tv but i am used to a 37 inch standard defenition tv at this range)
Should i get a pc monitor instead ?

pointless getting a full HD tv if it's under 40 inches, don't know much about that brand so that's not a good sign either.

panasonic/samsung are best for games i find.

I'd argue the toss on that one, I regularly play on 2 different 32'' that are 720p and 1080p and the 1080p one looks significantly better , granted the 720p is a 2nd generation Samsung and the 1080 is a year old Tohsiba.

Not the biggest size but it has IPS which is hard to find within this price range.

Jarren i see that the response time is only 5ms.With newer monitors the response time is 2ms.I see some on amazon with the same price as the one you have listed

Link these please as Jarren said. Manufacturers sometimes are misleading with their response times. They exaggerate. http://www.ehow.com/facts_7378341_lcd-5ms-vs_-8ms.html Read the first paragraph, they test using gray-to-gray methods rather than black-to-black.

its a bit small for my liking though thats the only downside .the minium i would want is 26 inch.

IMHO

You should purchase a dedicated gaming monitor for your Xbox 360 or increase your budget and get a proper Full HD tv.

i can only increase my budget by about 20€

Actually thinking about going for something like this myself as a TV which will be mainly used for playing an Xbox on but for which I also want the option of tuning in TV channels, decent price for what should be a decent tele imo

jarren im a little sketchy about buying second hand because tvs only ladt for so many 1000,s of hours ..itd have to be brand new in box .

adam that tv looks very tempting .i might consider it ..im going to go to harvey norman on thursday and look at tv.s and see if a 24 inch or 22inchwould suit my needs :-)
