Titanic Obsessed Stalker

Ok, my story starts in December of 2010. There was a boy named Conor, or so he'll be named for the purpose of this story,he was always quiet. A tad bit too quiet, during lunch he would just stand at the end of the stairs and look at his feet, he did this for 4 years of secondary school. We all made efforts to get to talk but to no avail.

That is until one frosty December night. Me and 14 other people received this message over facebook:

im 2 quite at school, if you get this message ur someone i would like to talk 2 at school

We all felt sorry for him and responded with encouraging messages like

I've no problem talking to you anyway dude.

We did this with the best of intentions, trying to help a person who was socially awkward out of their shell. How foolish we were.

After a few days of school he made no effort to talk, then sent us another message:

i will try and talk to one of ye or some of ye, if youve got meassage your someone i will try and talk to 2moro at lunch and maybe in da morning nd i mean it dis time i will talk

Again, we tried to help, responding with more or less the same as last time, after all, it takes a lot of balls to do this type of thing.

Now, this is where he gets stalkerific:

if i had an 18th and invited u would u come, please ans truthfully,
im not saying i will have 1 but just wanne see if i did who would come

Once again, we encouraged him and said that wed go, well, 4 of us did. I also did something I will regret for the next two years, I gave him my number.

As we arrived to the party we knew what huge mistake we had made, the only people that were there were his relatives and his younger siblings. His family spent the whole night in the kitchen, checking in on us every 5 minutes as if it was a 6 years party. So, we sat there for what seemed an eternity, watching the eurovision, eating stale pop corn. But after it we felt good, sadly, it seemed like charity work more than actually going to a friends birthday.

Over the next few weeks we went to funderland, since we were going anyway. Then he started inviting me to fota island and dublin zoo every week my excuse was the same everytime, "I have no money". But that didnt even slow down the beast.

I think its time I talk about his venture before we became his 'friends'. Every week he'd upload an album to facebook, among his finest are: "Traffic in Dublin" "Jedward" and my personnal favourite " Model car scale 1/18 with lights"

I will finish this tale tomorrow, the next part includes his disney character obsession and his marraige with a Casy Novak, the fictional character from Law and Order SVU and his ill fated 19th birthday.

I do feel sorry for this guy as he has gone and tried to make friends with the wrong sort of people.

Is it any wonder they guy is shy and clearly lacks confidence when he does things to "get out there" is shot down for them.
