    Hi Folks.

    Can anybody tell me if there is anywhere around who takes scrap metal and car batteries etc around the waterford area.

    Boyce Mulrooney on the tramore road for scrap metal, dont know about batteries

    Their trucks are quite an often visitor to the city.

    direct to Molloys is probably best - They will give you the going rates .

    Scrap metal is about 120e p/tonne

    I think there's a place on the Six Cross Roads industrial estate that takes old batteries. I think it's the Civic amenity centre??

    Scrap metal is about 120e p/tonne

    In the case of copper or brass thats one tenth of what its worth!

    Copper 1200 per tonne minimum.
