    Hoping somebody will be able to give me some pointers.

    I'm looking around for a good photography course at the moment. I've got a camera and enjoy taking some photos but would love to learn how to take better ones. I'm wondering if anybody would have some good recommendations of places I could look at around the city? I'm not really looking for something along the lines of an afternoon course but something a bit longer with workshops etc. Any help appreciated.

    Join Galway Camera Club. They do beginner's courses - one night a week, think its September to May or so, followed by club meetings where other members put on slideshows of their work, etc - tbh you'll learn a lot if you go along.
