Unfortunately man, I knew all of this already!! B1 is amazing but becomes unreliable if you toss it out too much, ws1+2 is actually quite slow on startup unless you block something like hell sweep or dragon tail (much prefer ws1,2 for safe easy damage) Peekaboo uf2 isn't as good as Peekaboo df1 string, and yes f2,1 is very tasty indeed!
b+1~b (holding back puts you into flicker) on CH is hit confirmable into DCK+1 (blue sparks) for a launch. On block/NH it's pretty safe and transitions into flicker, so you could try b+1~b (block), flicker 1,1 (block string) etc etc
ws 1+2 launcher for low punishes (HUGE DMG COMBO)
Peekabo uf+2 is very situational launcher, good for a whiff punish but range is so so
Of course, f+2,1 to catch backrollers into a huge combo is also tastey :P
As far as b+2 goes, I'll look into it but if your second character has a move that will flip the opponent over for the TA (after b+2, ff+2 bound), it will flip them back, for example, Hei OTGF, Hwo JFSR, etc, I'll mess around in training
My question was really directed at b2 itself, as it seems to be Steves equivalent to a df2. Appreciate the input though.

b2 i think is seen mainly as a high crushing mid launcher with slight evasiveness. And at -10 would probably be pretty broke if you got big damage off it. But with the right partner you can get 80ish.
Steve doesn't really get his damage from launchers. You use them to keep people in check. Like if people crouch jab out of Peekaboo pressure then you uf2 them. If people pressure you with df1 then you b1 them.
Try some frame traps with FLK and abuse db3,2 to get damage, also his i10 frame grabs are great! Those are my two cents from using him last week anyway....0 -

The people who made all these tier lists have never fought a good Asuka I think. Well that's what the theory is anyway. Also there's no reasons given behind these tier lists which is so annoying.... I really hope help me posts his reasons soon, or better yet I hope Aris makes one and gives reasons too.
In recent news, holy crap Asuka works so well with Unknown. The most damaging f2 5! combo yet and she has the coolest purple goo ever to troll with! My new favorite
