Looks like a good deal for me. Im pretty sure apple refurbs come with a new original box and all new accessories also, just will have the typical lightly scratched porcelain back as with all ipods/ipads, but AFAIK, they replace the back if its dented so its not like buying a used one on ebay or whatever. They also replace the battery with a new fresh one.
    Overview

    Apple Certified Refurbished Products

They also have the 32GB for €379 delivered.

Apparently they replace the casing, but it will be in a plain box, not a new iPad box.

Feck it, I'm going to sell my Kindle and get one, at that price they are well worth it in fairness. Have followed the thread to make sure I don't miss out on the 16GB again.

The question is, are iPads gonna fall in price because of the Nexus?

Personally, I doubt it regardless of whether or not the nexus is cheaper people are always going to buy Apple products, for the cool factor outside the tech community and/or because they are already in the apple ecosystem, they have an iPod, iPhone already etc. so they have already paid for the apps.

That is why I am going for the iPad, have had an iPhone for over 2 years now and can't imagine life without it, even though I think the Nexus 7 is seriously cool, has a great price point and is an excellent product, whats the point in me paying for the same apps again?

After ordering mine yesterday, it arrived today around lunch time.
The thing looks brand new with new casing and front glass, nothing on the outside would give away that its refurbished except if you looked up the serial number.

Happy out and saved €80 in the process.....

If you have the dongle, which looks like this, http://www.internetdongle.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Dongle-Guide-Image.jpg, then you will have to get a 3G iPad as the dongles do no provide wifi so you will have nothing to connect to.

If however you have a mifi which looks like this http://cdn1.mos.techradar.com///Review%20images/TechRadar/Gadgets/Three%20MiFi%20E586/_MG_0131-380-75.jpg , then you will be able to connect your ipad to is via wifi.

I would be careful here, no point in buying an iPad if you have no internet connection, so if you don't have any wifi to connect it to then you would be better off getting the 3G+wifi model. If you are still confused post up a bit of information about your mobile broadband device and/or a pic.

thanks for the info. I have the O2 dongle which connects to the laptop via USB. I only get to use wifi when I'm at my mothers house and gf's house.

I wonder if I change from my O2 dongle to the mifi device would it cost extra:confused: I get 15gigs a month from O2.

    See here:

You can get it on it's own for €59 or subsidised if you sign up to contract. If you buy the mifi device on it's own then your monthly bill won't cost any extra as long as you don't go over your 15GB limit, probably the same too if you sign a contract. All you do when you get your device is take your sim card out of the USB dongle and put it into the mifi.

the problem is I'm nearly hitting my 15gigs on my laptop and if I bought a ipad I know I'd hit the 15gigs for sure, that's why I'm looking at three broadband, there doing 60gigs for 30 euro a month!

I am on three myself, I will say that yes there is issues with their service but I for one am a very happy customer. What I would recommend is if you know someone who has a three phone or mobile broadband then get them to come over to your house and check what kind of speeds you get.

Also you can check here if your area is covered in the national BB scheme, this does not however guarantee that you will get good coverage. My area is covered and it vastly improved the service for when I am at home, however my sister also lives in a National BB scheme area about 5 minutes from me and I can get no coverage at her house what so ever.
