How long were you waiting for Carer's allowance?

Hi all, just wondering how long you were waiting for a decision on your carer's allowance application. I have Cystic Fibrosis and my partner applied for carer's allowance in September and we are still awaiting a decision. We are basically just living on very little savings and my disability benefit so the money is needed.
