They'll make a game out of anything these days, but this one's actually fun. Go to FamilyGuyOnline.com to sign up for the beta. It's a free to play, browser based Wow-lite clone and I guess it goes without saying that it's really only for Family Guy fans.

You pick a character class based on the family, tailor their look and then run around the town doing fetch quests for the various characters (at least that's all I've done so far). It's not going to replace Guild Wars 2 on your must-have games list, but for a little diversion, it's quite funny. The cast lend their voices to it, and some of the quest show clips from the show.

The quests themselves, as I said, are fetch quests relating to various episodes and family quirks. There's also collections to find relating to the characters. There's also an in-game shop that takes game currency and also real money, if you're that way inclined.

Anyway, if you're into Family Guy it's worth a shot.

Does it interrupt game play every 3 minutes for an unfunny, non-mission-related fart sketch?
