Calibre for Kindle v Sony e-Reader

I use Calibre on my Kindle and use the news fetching service to send the news to my Kindle (free) email address by WiFi. A friend (actually two friends) have Sony e-Readers and I wonder if they can do the same with Calibre? In other words can Sony eReader use the News fetching service of Calibre?

Thanks - not really. I send the days newspapers to my Kndle every morning at 6AM automatically through the news fetch feature of Calibre. But to use this automation I need it to be sent via email to the kndle free email address. AFAIK no such email address exists for the Sony reader. Anybody with a Sony Reader that can prove me incorrect? Thanks again tho'.
