Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does Boards.ie have a pets forum/post something new every time your pet does something cute thread?

(Don't misinterpret this as some passive aggressive attempt to get rid of pet the photos, I like rabbits and cats. I simply want to know if there's something I'm missing out on.)

Typically that is the exclusive territory of Sera and her wonderful pluckings from the interweb, but anyone can have a go, now and again, at my discretion....

Any interest in a bigbox original C&C game? I picked it up recently in a second hand shop. Even still has the original Virgin Megastore receipt from 1996 :D

So last week I annoyed everyone by saying I was looking for a game that I couldn't find. I've since found someone that can source it for me so since there's no competition for it I can reveal what it was. Prepare to be uninterested!

    It was
    Theresia

Trust you to find the one "mature" game on a console for "da kidz"....
You'd dig up hentai for a v-tech smile, wouldn't you?
    Easy to use controls,
    Robust construction,
Educational as well as entertaining software library,
    and
    Tentacle porn.

Ah Theresia, a game I've had in my hands a good few times in the states but never pulled the trigger on. Both it and From The Abyss have been almost-purchases many times.

My comment was more of a sexual innuendo than a real comment on ball colour :pac:

When it comes to colours, I think it all depends on cabs. Green is my favourite (I think!) but they wouldn't look right on my cab. Red or blue is the only way to go with it.

You're lucky with your atomiswave as there are loads of different colours going on with the cab art, so you really have the choice to mix and match a lot.

I think we can all agree my balls are pretty nice and they also feel great in the hand.

Anyhooooo, I do like the pink(technically violet) and blue(technically dark blue) Egret 3 colour scheme and have bought many different colours of ball top and buttons but none look as well as the original. I think I'll be sticking with this colour scheme for the foreseeable future.

I'm sure, in the future, we will see customised balls, available in a range of colours, from Natural Pink to Atavan Blue and Retr0 Green... maybe even Monkeyfudge Brown!
That'd be some colour chart in B&Q!

Funnily enough I got a green ball top in the post this morning. Freebie sent out by akihabarashop as one of the balls in my previous shipment had a nasty chip in it. Really loving the LS-56-01 stick at the minute, getting back into playing some shmups too. Maybe resurrect that high score thread. :)

60-in-1 PCB arrived this morning, looking forward to seeing exactly how good or bad it is now..

Been a while since I've had anything new to post here.

    221814.jpg

I got this today and I haven't tested this yet, mostly bought it because I favour the Saturn pad over the MD's (the 6 button pad on the MD... uggh).

This is a little different to the one Pyongyang made a video of back in February, that had N64 and PS2 pad conversion as well; I was never much of a fan of the PS2 or N64 controllers so I went for 2 Saturn pads over 1x USB.

When I'm done giving this a test on my PC I'll check OS X compatibility. Might also check if anyone has already written about the Saturn analogue controller (Nights "3d" pad) compatibility with this; it'd be nice to have for JSR HD if it works.

Akai Katana arrived this morning, and nuts it is too.
That's three Cave titles for the 360 so far, all cheap ones I'll grant you :(
    But, still.
I see it's on the way from XBLA, which is nice, still going to cost more than the 18 it cost me, posted though, I think it's 19.99 from the marketplace.
At some point I'll figure out what the fup is going on... but I'm having fun as it is!
    Lots of pink bullets.... sniff...

Traded in MW3 for about 7 euro in GS, a few dvds brought that to 10 euro. So went mad and bought Alice in Wonderland for the DS, a game I've wanted for while.
My guess is Alice will have a tad more content then the rather truncated Modern Warfare 3.

Unfortunately I seldom go into town, but with trade in prices like that I probably should!
What is their retro selection like these days?

not much, about 20 original xbox games, about the same with Gamecube.
there is a fair bit of ps2, but alot of it will be shovelware.

I just use them because it's better to be able to get cash in the hand than have to use it as credit, and alot quicker than selling on ebay/adverts.
