Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    There's more?
    Andrew75?
    Andrew77?
Are these denizens of alternate universes?
One's where Sony built the goddamn cd addon for the Snes and we were spared the hell of the CDi?
A universe where someone released a decent Superman game on, well any format?

Disney? Animaniacs on the Megadrive and SNES was pretty good I thought. Konami were pretty good back then.

Yes, you're right of course, my bad. I'm mixing up the licensed Warner Bros Konami stuff with Disney's titles, my bad. The grey matter is starting to fail these days.:(

Konami were mostly great back in the SNES days. They did a lot of good licensed games, and the odd classic like contra, castlevania, cybernator, or one of my faves, zombies ate my neighbors (brilliant, funny arcade zombie b-movie survival horror game for anyone who hasn't played it). I just didn't like their warner brothers cartoony stuff, animaniacs, buster bunny, etc. It all felt very "by the numbers".

Here's a list of their titles for SNES. Lots of good ones in here:
    http://snesguide.com/publishers/konami/

By the way, i still don't like Disney, whether their games were any good or not. I watch mickey mouse clubhouse on a constant loop from 6:30 am every morning, I must've paid for dozens of expensive minnie mouse kid's toys by now, and all of them broke after 3 days, and I'm currently planning for a trip to Disneyland in California when our little tot is old enough that's gonna cost me a fecking packet.

...and then there's the whole "star wars" thing....

There it is in all its Snes gloriousnessness.

Was a bit worried about the condition of the box due to the obscure and obtuse manner of the pictures displayed on the listing. Thankfully my fears were not realised but rather I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the stuff. Posters look like they were never even unfolded, manual looks unread and we even have the cart cover.
    Does the battery work though...

Not Christmas slippers but rather a Christmas onesie. For the 40 days leading up to Christmas I wear it. Normally I do take pictures of the games naked though.

Just got a CF card preloaded with workbench and loads of software.

Should just be a case of putting this in my A1200 and it'll be working.

So, taking photos of games while naked.
Thankfully it doesn't matter as we are seeing what the camera see's.
Also, thankfully, there are no devices like the one in Bladerunner that would allow the morbidly curious to seek out a reflective surface and find a picture of a nude photographers nethers.

So, lets move on, and take care when at a Beers in their homes not to sit on any absorbent fabric covered furniture....

Some nice packages to treat the eyes this morning, and no, not a portrait of Jack Burton and OwyanTT holding a copy of Progear, but Mother 2, Dead Souls and Demons Souls for the PS3....
    Which is nice!

I don't even need a time machine to predict a ciderman post from the future:

Then he'll probably buy them again :P

I expect the Move editions to come with some sort of torture device that will be activated to make the various times of dread more effective, maybe a short onscreen video of CDi Zelda cut scenes... Something truly hideous like that ;)

At least if Cidermans move controller dosen't work out it may also have a second use as a sweet dispenser.:)

A sneek preview at a certain 10 year olds Judas day present. Another launch console sucker here, but at 10 years old, I'd say this will be Santas swan song so may as well let him go out on a high!

Easy, just swap gifts! Santy brings EnterNow a WiiU and EnterNow Jr gets a new soldering station!
EnterNow gets to sample asymmetric gaming bliss and his son gets to see what 3rd degree burns are like, win/win!

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 34,641 CMod ✭✭✭✭CiDeRmAn

I did wonder who was going to buy one, from our merry little band.

Also, wouldn't you be doing him a favour opening it, saving him the wait on the big morning, waiting for the giant update to finish downloading?
It's your duty as a great dad to average him from that misery, and what if you wait and let him update it on Christmas morning? What if Nintys servers are overloaded due to many bad fathers waiting, why that would be dreadful! No update! No gaming! Tears, Sadness, Parents arguing, Divorce...
Dear god man! Open it now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,183 ✭✭✭✭Atavan-Halen

Being Enternow jr. I'd assume he already has several soldering irons :P

Could always just say Santa came early this year!

    Pfft...the Bible :rolleyes::D

Everyone knows Jesus asked Judas to swap places with him, to make the ultimate sacrifice for his prophet. It was Juads on that cross, not Jesus. It explains how he 'rose from the dead' then, while he poor friend Judas was wishing there was some biblical version of hammerite or no more nails out as the time. Everyone knows this right? Right?? :D

    In a word... No.

But good luck with your new enterprise and let us know how you get on...

But, sure you haven't room for the Vita, never mind the WiiU!
What's the deal? Does Sauron take December off?
