Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where did you buy it ??? I'd be inclined to go there.

I know a lot of garages wont touch them as they're hard to get parts for.

I bought it from a private person up in Donegal. I'm sure there must be somewhere, where I can take it. I suppose I will just have to buckle down and start calling around.

Just googled a pic of it and jogged my memory. I know Inchicore Motorcycles used to sell them under the guise of "Suzuki", so give them a call

I PM'd a lad I know to see if he works on them. I'll let you know when he gets back to me

If you're lucky the parts will be the same as a similar Honda. If you're unlucky then parts won't be available and you're basically screwed. Problem is you've no way of knowing. Some common service parts might be exactly the same as a Honda, but some obscure part that breaks could be completely unobtainable. I'd advise anyone not to touch these Chinese knock-offs with a bargepole - a used Japanese bike is far better value and even Jap 'grey imports' like a Bros are far easier to maintain than Chinese no-name bikes. It helps that they were built to a far better quality standard to begin with.

    Scrap the cap!

I know the guy in classic motorcycles in delgany is very good with this sort of thing. Don't know if he has worked on one of them but he does specialise in unusual bikes and bikes that are hard to find parts for. you can find him in google fairly handy. other than that i duno
