ohh now i see what you mean, having re-read your OP there, my answer would have to be "NO!", hell no, in that case, because at one stage i did have my e-mail address in my profile, and i posted something in another forum, and half an hour later i got an e-mail from a journalist looking for a story. i've since removed my e-mail address. i just wouldn't use boards if personally identifiable information was mandatory in signatures. stalkers have it easy enough with the likes of facebook et al as it is!

Considering I've posted photos and personal details on boards, and along with the fact that I have made many friends on here, I would be very surprised if there weren't at least few posters who know who I am.

So yes, I'd still post, and I'm no different really on boards than I am IRL so I've nothing to hide!

I like having one site (boards) that I can log on to without every person I know either checking up on it, nosing and having something to comment,like,share or retweet about everything I do :cool:

Well, when I was younger I used the same name for everything, and on one music forum I said I didn't like any Pantera besides 'Great Southern Trendkill'.

Do you think there are any people sort of like a character from a super hero movie. They might act dumb on boards and then in the real world the could be very successful an intelligent.

I wouldn't care about anyone really knowing who I am, but I'm not sure I'd be happy with not knowing that people knew me and I not knowing them. Then there's work, you wouldn't want them being able to check up on you.
