recommend me a good monitor for Gaming

hi guys can you recommend me a good monitor for Gaming budget of 200-300 , been recommended either IPS or 3d monitor , not really sure which would be better , if i got 3d does that mean its usless without wearing 3d glasses ????

Yamakasi Catleap is a 27" 2560x1440 IPS panel. The Dell U2711 for example shares most of the same specs but retails for nearly three times the price. It's an unbelievable bargain for a screen of it's quality but the only thing to look out for is customs charges, and the possibility that your monitor could be DOA. They charge a lot to ship it back to Korea and it's not worth your while.

TBH lads 27'' is too big I don't have the space for it 24'' is really as big as I could go, could you recommend something around that size , is an ips screen the way to go ???

Try www.amazon.co.uk. Was browsing through it last night & a lot of monitors came up. Some on very good money. Might be something there to suit you.

If 27 inches is too big, have a look at the U2312HM.

I asked this over on the catleap thread, but doubt anyone noticed.
Are the latest yamakasi monitors available capable of 120hz, and how exactly do you go about 'overclocking' a screen?

Not all Catleaps will overclock, only 2B serials. Check out http://120hz.net for info.
