Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    3player is exclusively on the Sony platform for now. Sony have more video streaming services than their competition but less games like Backgammon (but who cares about those?). The BDPS390 also has a basic browser.

    Hi I bought this in Argos for €145 about six weeks ago specifically for Netflix, I checked out reviews on Amazin and it received some glowing reports!!! I liked the fact that no WiFi dongle was needed - a gimmick if you ask me.

    So went home connected to my surround sound, set up the WiFi an created a Netflix account sat down with the family to watch a movie, five minutes into the movie a message appears - "loading" and so the movie is punctuated with pauses while the movies is buffered or loading. It made movie watching impossible.

    Tried a number of times with the same results.

    So researched on the web and found quite a few forums and posts complaining about Sony blu ray smart player and Netflix.

    It is NOT my broadband coz I have now set up the Nintendo Wii with Netflix and not a problem.

    Have created a customer complaint with Sony todayso hoping for a reply soon.

    Blu ray is great but Netflix a disaster.
