Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Having issues with my iphone charging. basically its not my plug or wires anyway as Ive tried multiple and they all work on other peoples phones. I think the actual socket got wet/damaged somehow. does anyone know if this is an easy thing to get repaired? costly?

I have insurance and Im on o2. should i go straight to an o2 shop or can anyone recommend an iphone repair place in dublin city centre or near ifsc?

Everything esle about the phone is fine when it eventually turns on but its taking hours to get maybe 20 per cent and i keep having to check and tweak the cable, very frustrating.

    any tips appreciated, cheers.

Check if there is pocket fluff in the iphone charger cable socket use a straightened paper clip of pin to remote it without damaging the socket

Your looking at about €25 to get the dock connector changed by a company or DIY it for about €5 if your good at that sort of thing

Had the same problem myself, then I just tried again and it worked. I reckon there was some debris or dust on the connectors.
