Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In my limited experience, external burners usually come with a dual usb cable. That means you'd have to plug both usb connectors into the laptop at the same time to supply enough power to burn a disc. The length of cable between each usb connector can be an issue with the air having one usb on each side.

    Basically you might need a usb extension cable too when burning stuff.

    edit: Oh, I have a samsung external myself. No problems with it in the past 2 years or so of light use.
