    Hi all,

My Jack Russell went missing from the Cappagh Road area earlier this evening.

She is brown and white with a long tail, she's wearing a brown collar with silver studs and answers to the name Ruby.

If you've seen her or know of her whereabouts please pm me.

    Thanks in advance

Long shot but this little lady was found in Kylebrack:

    No collar and not chipped.

Thanks EGAR, but unfortunately that's not her - what a cutie though!

Ruby is mainly white with a brown face and patches.
She is chipped - so hopefully that'll help with finding her.

She's very fond of children, so I'm just hoping she joined in funtime in the sun with a group of kids and has tagged along for the day.....fingers crossed!

Have you got a pic? Sent me a PM with details and a pic if you have it and I put it on the EGAR facebook wall.

Sorry to hear that Traochta... I have had some experience with my pet dog going missing... luckily found her each time.

Dogs have an incredible sense of smell and tend to follow smells upwind. The wind has been blowing from the south/east for the last few days, so that might help you find an area to concentrate your search.

Not guaranteed but it worked for me.

    Good luck

    :)

    Thanks guys, still no joy.

I'm hoping someone might bring her to a vet today (after the weekend) to have her checked for a microchip.

Ruby has been found safe and well!:)

She was brought to the vet in Moycullen, had her microchip scanned and I picked her up a little while ago.

She's a little tired but ok after her weekend adventure thanks to the kind people who picked her up on Sunday evening.

Thanks to everyone who helped and gave advice on the situation.
