Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

(Sweet Jesus...) Alphabet Killer caught?

This is the sickest thing that anyone will read outside of fiction for a long time I think. An elderly man has been arrested after a routine search of his home turned up womens clothes, pictures of girls unconscious or dead, womens IDs, and disgustingly detailed diaries of rapes and what sound like murders spanning the mans lifetime. Police don't want to estimate how many victims there could be.
The entire article is shocking. I can't relate this well enough. Best to read it.

I find it far fetched that, that adorable cute old man could have killed anyone. Something is not adding up here.

Bone chilling stuff, he sounds like a complete and utter monster, I am completely weirded out after reading that.

That is mental. And so sick how he got away with so many assaults because sex crimes just weren't taken seriously at the time. Instead of being charged with rape, he had policemen telling him to 'get out of town'. At least society has moved on from that.

Jesus. Makes you wonder how many other predators might still be out there doing the same thing.

That was one of my final thoughts on the article. Its unnerving he could have gotten away with such activity so brazenly even when under the lime light of the police.

The sad thing about all this is that there is more likely to be hundreds like him all over the world, who have got away with these monster crimes.

He should be fed to animals in the zoo. Sick human being.

Naso was indeed charged with rape more than once in the 1950s, and reported on other occasions. But the prosecutions appear to have gone nowhere and, in some cases, the police barely took the accusations seriously.

Prosecutors have approached a 74-year-old woman who alleged that Naso was the man who raped her when she was a student in Berkeley, California, in 1961. She reported the attack to the police at the time, but said they suggested she was trying to make her boyfriend jealous. According to Naso's own diary, when the mother of one under-age girl he had sex with went to New York police, the officer's response was to warn him to leave town.

This is one of the saddest parts of the whole thing. 50 years of violence could have been prevented and who knows how many victims spared.

How right on you are Maudi. How right on you are.

Truth is those animals in the zoo deserve better than having to be fed the flesh of that scumbag.

    Ha!

Wow, he seems to have been quite the prolific serial killer! It looks like they are trying to pin an awful lot on him though. Switching from kids to protitutes is a pretty big leap. Though as they say, he may simply have gained confidence as he went on.

It really makes me wonder though. Are serial killers primarily a modern phenomenon or have they been prevelant throughout history, simply going unnoticed.

Or maybe they are a product of the modern era, born out of a lack of legimate ways to quench their bloodlust e.g. inquistitions, persecutions, indescriminate warfare etc.

To be fair, the number of missing persons here in Ireland over the last number of years makes me seriously consider that there is indeed a serial killer active here at present

    do explain?

The use of the terms 'classy' or 'stay classy' effectively surmise and win any debate when used online at an opportune moment leaving the user with a self qualified air of intellectual and moral superiority.
Any retort or objection is considered to indicate that the opposition, regardless of any valid point, is merely a frustrated and emotional reactionary tabloid reader.

Has it really though? What about that rapist in Kerry where 50 men queued up to shake his hand while he awaiting his sentence!

Just read up on that. If it was your best mate you would believe him. Right up until seeing the CCTV and her injuries. After being found guilty and going to be sentenced what happened was mental! How did so many people think it was acceptable to shake his hand?

This is true, there's plenty that go missing out this way and no explanation is ever found.
