Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Out for a walk there and walked through a swarm of bastard midges and one went into my eye (I may have eaten a few too). When trying to get it out it went really far back under my eye lid and then it disappeared.

    I think its gone in behind my eye. I feel sick and dizzy from rolling my eyes to try and manoeuvre it out. Should I leave it and risk eye rot and blindness ?

    In all stupid seriousness that isn't possible. I have contacts and that's a question I once asked one of those eye people. Stuff can't go behind your eye. It probably wiggled right into your pupil and it's nesting inside.

    I think it's great we've finally see the end of "blast it with piss" and the rest of them. Keep things a little fresher ;)
    Which Mod came up with this idea? I think they should be elected as King Mod.
    Is there one mod to rule them all?

    A fly went into my ear when I was about 10.
    It's still there.
    My ear feels weird and buzzes sometimes.
    No one ever believes me though :(

    If you were currently 10 years and 2 months old people might believe you.

    I'm sure by now, that fly is long dead, and it's just his little fly bones rattling around in your ear making the sound....

    is it caught under the eye lid?, can u feel it's presence when u blink? I'd suggest get a cold wet cloth and massage ur eye for a while. should come out.

    Just came out of its own accord, we shook hands and said we'd say no more about it. To be honest he was just as upset as I was, he was picnicking with the extended family when apparently he was abducted by aliens.

    Thought sure it had gone behind the eye though because I pulled out the lids as far as I could and had someone look right up in there and they seen nothing.
