Periwinkles - where to get on the southside ?

    I know they're available on in Skerries but what beach can we pick them on the southside ?

    on the rocks in Greystones I'd say. Possibly at the cove

    Just be carefull not to pick them near outflow pipes or anywhere like that. This time of the year they can contain harmful bacteria so its a good idea to starve them for a day or so in a bucket of water before you eat them.
