Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Playing Crespo at centre back was probably up there with signing Stewart Downing.

tactics terrible by kenny, crespo at the back, leaving butler on so long, Norton offered nothing.

    buck stops with the manager.

Not the best match I've ever watched, to be fair.

    England 10/11
    Draw 7/2
    ROW 13/8

    - How are ROW 13/8? Their legends are of a far superior standard to those of England

Ya gotta score enough goals to win the game.

Never tested Theakston. Goddammit, this means England are world-beaters.

I think Kenny couldn't get his gameplan working without a Jay Spearing type in there to pull the strings :pac:

But... Lucas is injured! That's why it all went so terribly wrong tonight!

Kirsty Gallagher's boobs seem to have disappeared.

    Which is a shame.

Anyone else find it odd how happy Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes are for winning a trophy they basically created themselves? :pac:

Wonder how Ramsey is, dirty from Teddy!

I'm half-worried about Ramsey tbh; they didn't mention his condition at all post match. Only Sergio seemed to ask if he was ok, and Dermot didn't actually given an audible answer :/

    Never liked Sheringham.

    Never liked Sheringham.

Apparently it was some pay back for a bad steak tartare at Claridges.

    Never liked Sheringham.

According to Keane's book which im sure you read, they never spoke @ united, he said he always got bad vibes off him, policeman's son and all that.

Ramsey made a meal of it.

Sheringham looked like he didnt want to be there tonight and looked like he wanted to cause trouble.

Could see it from the get go, pass from Philips and was over played Sheringham didnt even, recognise the effort from Philips.

Andy Cole also said he never talked to him either.

He also was trying quite hard to score goals, while it was obvious that the other pro's were trying to let the celebs score, Seedorf in particular avoided a tap in to set up one of the celebs. I know Kevin Phillips buried a goal late on but that was with the last kick pretty much. Sheringham leathered a ball at Keilty which he saved well to his credit. Was smiling before the game, but once it kicked off he didnt seem to enjoy it for what it was. Disappointing Teddy.

Great to see the amount they raised and the coverage they got. And fair play to the Celebs for showing up and giving it a good shot. Loved the fact that Woodie Harrilson just smiled through the whole thing.

On the other hand there were a few people that just didnt seem bothered, and id hate to see them in the next match.

Don't mean to come across as a begrudger but the English seem to take it alot more seriously Phillips and Sheringham up front, the former just finished a season professionally against Serge from Kasabian and Gerard Butler who was spitting feathers after 5 mins, tad unfair.

All being said though, great cause and a great effort from the majority.

    Japp Stam ... legend!

if Clarence Seedorf wasn't taking the piss and passing to Ferrell and Butler and was as greedy as phillips and teddy, I've no doubt ROW would have won that game easily.
