How much are you expected to write for each part on paper 1 and 2?

No. If you look at the marking scheme you will see that it's generally around half a page to three quarters of a page per 20marks. However, this can differ depending on the size of your writing. The most importact thing is to ask yourself, 'Have I answered the question I was asked?.' Your 'P' marks are essential.
