Thoughts on Kingscourt Apartments Parnell Street, D1

    I was wondering does anyone have any experience of renting or living in these apartments or the general Parnell Street area from the Ambassador to Cineworld. Thinking of renting here and am worried about the location. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    I don't know much about the apartments themselves apart from seeing pics on the internet but they look alright

    I live near the area and it is busy and bustling
    You do get an element of the anti-social type but you will get that in a lot of places in the city center

    It can be a bit intimidating to walk around at night as the area can be a bit dark but to be honest I have never had a problem

    The plus side is that there are lots of shops and pubs around and the cinema is a couple of minutes away, city center living can be great and very convenient

    What were your concerns?

    Most if not all apartment blocks in Parnell Street would have a lot of ongoing escort activity.
    Not sure if would bother you but something to be aware of.

    Thanks for the info. guys. We decided to pass on the apartment. Though I am quite familiar with Parnell street (and most of the time there are no problem) there is alot of dodginess especially in the apartment blocks from what I could find online and from friend. Myself and my boyfriend found a facebook page ran by some of those living in the block and things seem quite bad re security. Loads of incidents of junkies attacking people and petty crime allegedly.
