Recording straight to Quicktime or iMovie

Hi Guys, I need to find a camera for work that will connect directly to a Mac and record to Quicktime or similar. In the past we were using a Sony with a DV firewire out. Is there a new camera available that will do this for me? 1080p, SD card and 'pass through' out. Cheers, Any help appreciated.
