Loan Parent wanting to Study in the UK

    Hi guys. I lost my job so decided to apply to college. Ive received my acceptance letter for my Degree course starting in September. Only problem is it is in Cardiff Wales, I have some family support over there. Obviously I will have to emigrate to study and I'm a loan parent with two children still in school. Has anyone here gone through similar?

    Questions:
    Can I retain my Irish Loan Parent payment whilst studying over there (I know I'm not entitled to receive anything from the UK)?
    What grants or aid are available to me?

    Any advice would be of huge benefit :)
