Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's a close call between Frada of this parish, and the writer Flann O'Brien/Brian O'Nolan.

Aside from the issue of whether he regards himself as Irish or not, probably one of the least deserving of a Nobel Peace prize. Shame that John Hume had to share it with a sneaky underhand political opportunist and bigot.

But dead or alive would imply the person was not particularly treasured. Nor wanted; regardless of how high the ransom was they were not that actually in demand..

She in the "alive" category. If that shooter on the grassy knoll near Leixlip had had better aim, she'd probably have come under the heading "dead".:D:D:D

John Hume - made many personal and professional sacrifices for the benefit of us all up here, and indeed was vilified for doing so.

The debt we owe him cannot be repaid.

Thank you to a great Irishman.

Brendan O'Carroll. Not a big fan of his stand-up and even less so of Mrs Brown's Boys, but he was on the radio this mornin and you couldnt help but feel happy for the fucker after his bafta. He comes across as a nice, genuine and honest man. Fair fucks to him.
