Just wondering if anybody knows the rules and regulations about students going on school related bus journeys alone/unsupervised by teachers? Not talking about normal every day school bus run. Thanks

I'm not 100% sure that there's any legal regulations on it. But the school should have a policy about supervision and what's permitted or not.

Thanks. Does that mean that every school has different policies on that as agreed by each individual board of management?

Pretty much yes. There are guidelines from the unions but that's it as far as I know.

Is this a graduation or debs? Often done entirely with no parent or teacher supervision. It is often the case whereby the school distances themselves completely from these occasions (apart from the in-school grad ceremony). I doubt it's age related as plenty would be 16/17 on those trips.
