Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Things that are "totally not gay"

I love Mochas, the Nescafe sort.

Time was the box was brown so nothing looked bad about carrying them around.

Then they made them pink. I still bought regardless. My lust for quality coffee continued unabated.

But now the boxes have a picture of a chick enjoying a Mocha at the back and some speel about "Every girl should always relax blah blah"

It makes me hide the sachets every time anyones around and gives me a tinge of sadness compared with that time you try to write your name when having a wee but run out of steam.

What else out there has been ruined for you by the sudden femmininity of it?

    Cowboys jumps to mind...

Blatant contradiction here, which statement is true?? ;):D

Fair play for still buying them, bit stupid on Nescafe's part to make them pink. It'll stop some men I'd say.

Leather Chaps. I miss wearing them.

My cat complains about the same problem. He hates that his favourite cat food comes in pink boxes and makes him look emasculated.

    Leather gear

I own a motorbike and I'll stroll around Tesco in my gear no bother

    Totally not gay
In fact it's the opposite, the wimmins love the bike

    What are you, 16?

This reminds me of a local golf club near here who change their membership tag colour every year. This year its pink, and every grown man in the club seems to be embarrassed and terrified of displaying that they own one of these pink tags.

In all fairness...golf is pretty gay.

All cars are female, so does that make MINI's lesbians?

    Gardening!

It involves physical strength, a lot of DIY, and getting your hands dirty. Yet whenever you say you're going to do a bit of gardening some joker gives you abuse about pansies and floral arrangements.

You're right mike. Lets go get ourselves some facials and then sort out those rose bushes.

That would totally not be gay.

People think hockey is a sport for wimmins
They are completely wrong, it's for everyone

Hockey is a great sport to watch, very fast and skilful
Pass, pass, pass and you're in a scoring chance in no time. Must be very fit to get up and down the field

European Championships were held in UCD are a few years back

    I like watching it
    Totally not gay

Might not be gay, but it is overly feminine.

Ugg boots, originally for sheep shearers, aviators and surfer dudes and the wimmens stole the idea, like they stole trousers from us.

aviators - Not gay (unless you wear them while playing volley ball in a top gun style fashion)
surfer dudes - Well I'm sure a percentage of them are gay.
Ugg boots - Totally 100% gay on blokes!

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, the new series. Totally not gay. It's funny and has a good message. Lauren Faust was EP of it, she also was a lead story artist on Power Puff Girls, and she is fucking gorgeous.

Korean romantic comedies. Totally not gay. They're nothing like Western ones, in that they deal with legit male stuff instead of just aiming them at partarded chicks.

    What is confusing?
How a grown man can watch My Little Pony and can say it's not gay.

Because it's genuinely funny and not just for little girls. Lots of adult themes and plenty of innuendo.
