New Golf membership in Waterford golf clubs

    Is anyone else interested in joining a golf club in Waterford.
    I have not played in a few years and want to get back into it.
    If we got together a group I am sure we could get a great membership rate if there is a few of us....

    If the price was right I'd be interested alright. Way my shifts work I'm gonna have a day off in the week which would be lovely for a round. I haven't properly played since I was 18 so I'd love to take it up again.

    5 day (Mon - Fri) €145
    Senior Citizen (Mon - Fri) €82
    Junior (U18) €50
    Students Fulltime (Mon - Fri) €65

    Not that it applies to me, but just wondering how do they know if the person is unemployed?

    Can't imagine them asking for proof but it doesn't seem to matter as it's €10 for everyone.

    Is the 7 day a full membership where you can play in the members tournaments, etc?
    Do you get GUI handicap with it?

    I was more thinking of approching one of the bigger clubs like faithlegg or Waterford Castle. Faithlegg would be my favourate.

    If we had 5 or 6 willing to join then I am sure we could get a good deal.

    Most likely a social services card, or a "free bus pass". Some places to a reduced charge, and they probably included it so people wouldn't ask at the course and get offended by the price.
