Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey I'm very confused as to how you can add on extra subjects and if anyone has any advice I be very thankfull. I have a Theology and Arts degree, I can teach Religion and English but I also had history as a subject in first year. So, could I do an extra qualification to qualify me to teach history? If so, what type of qualification would I need? Would it be another degree or could I do a cert or diploma in History?
Also, if I wanted to do another subject that I haven't studied as part of my degree like IT how would I go about it?

    Sorry for all the questions!:)

DCU under their Oscail programme offer a history and english course. You can complete 5 history modules and the Teaching Council will recognise this qualification as far as I know. Might be worth ringing DCU. Check the Teaching Council website and you will find a list of all the courses that they recognise. You could also do an Open University course ~ good luck!
