    Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if there's any restaurant in Dublin similar to ard bia in Galway? Thanks

    You may want to explain what is special about Ard Bia so that Dublin posters have some sort of reference for their recommendations.

    never been to ard bia but judging from their website, the cafe looks a lot like avoca (suffolk street) while the restaurant would be more like The Winding Stair (Great quality Irish food on Bachelor's Walk) and the wine bar like the Wine Cellar in Fallon and Byrne (Exchequer Street)

    I've been to Ard Bia, and it really is fabulous. Can't really think of anywhere in Dublin that has the exact same vibe - or there might be and I can't think of it.
    It's really is like (as prev poster said) a marriage between Avoca & Winding Stair. L.Mulligan Grocer or W.J Kavanaghs maybe? Hold on, maybe Mayfield Deli in Harolds Cross?
