I checked Golfnet this morning and my score for Saturday and Sunday are in there as QSA (Qualifying Stableford Away) so hopefully there will be cuts applied where relevant.

Surely they shouldn't as placing was in action for the 3 days?

placing doesnt make a round non counting unless its in the rough

there was only scores for saturday and sunday as it was play as it lies in rough both days. Makes the round qualifying alright.

I stand corrected so, I though placing of any form applied.

Dromoland castle 22-24 sept. 115 entry fee which is good value considering the green fee.

Personally I don't see how that's good value, you can play an open competition there most Friday's for €35. Granted it's potentially 3 rounds with good prizes but there should be a discount to playing 3 rounds since you're not guaranteed to make the cut.
I've never played in the majors tour or in Dromoland Castle both of which are supposed to be good but I think it should be promoted on the experience rather than the value as €115 of an entry fee is quite expensive regardless of the amount of golf on offer.

i think 115 is pretty spicey too. gui mid-ams (which are 54 holes too) are about 35e

Is the 24th correct? That's a Monday which would probably rule me out. I could play the weekend but would find it hard to get that day off

Re value, the carton house fixture was 130.
Id consider it value as I can't or wouldn't make the trip down there for a one day open. It's still 50 odd euro on teetimes mid week.
So for me to potentially play 3 rounds for a well organised tournament...I don't mind paying it. It will end up coating a few quid with accommodation too but should be a good weekend (I hope)

In terms of value , if u are anyway serious about golf, u can't compare the cost of this vs 3 "normal" rounds, the set up is unreal, with leader boards around the course, food stations every 6 holes, it's brilliantly ran and add to that, on top of the big prizes for top 3, just a top 10 just u in for free next year !
