Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's always painful watching Trap do press conferences. I seriously think he should be replaced. What's the point in having the second highest paid manager in Europe over a team like Ireland? It's mental

Exactly what I was hoping for. Theres another brillant one when he was with I think Red Bull Salzberg. The looks he was giving some of his staff and players on the panel with him would scare you.

Watching Trap's press conference and I am a fan of his but I honestly cannot understand a single ****ing point he is trying (or not trying) to make.

How can a man like him not have picked up the English by now?

It's funny to think that Henry hand ball issue aside ,if that Ireland team had qualified for the worlf cup finals and gave a good account of themselfs , we could then have maybe forgiven this squads performance .The best we can say about Trapp is that he got us to the Euro finals now but his quad was all the more weaker by two years for it .

Why televise a press conference if you aren't going to mike up the questions, it's like listening to one side of a phone conversation.

Mwahaha! I'm all for supporting our closest neighbours, but Gerrard's cocky comments about Sweden not being as good as France annoyed me so I'll be delighted if they're beaten! C'mon Sweden!

Hart should have come for that.

    Poor defending.

Fair play to the turnips though.

Good match - messy, but interesting. Walcott just put away a curling strike, so it's 2-2 with 25 mins left.

No it doesn't, the mindset of the 'supporter' is just fine. 'Give us the product and we will follow you to the death'.
We don't 'refuse to support', cop yourself on. Look at the passion a GAA game can arouse, where is that in the LOI.
The FAI and LOI have to take a long hard look at what they offer to aspiring talent.
The 'supporters' are the least of their problems.
The generation who watched as children from '88 on have been totally let down by the organisation. Poor investment, divisive policy and no vision, the age old problems of the organisation. I have never ever witnessed a marketing campaign run by the LOI in the way that Rugby and GAA will market their games. The FAI and LOI never entered the modern age when they should have, they are paying the price and will continue to pay it for the forseeable future.

And btw, John Delaney is the cheif executive of FAI, it's up to those inside the FAI and LOI to change that.

The mindset is just fine? I explained clearly in my last post why it is not. Do you think its normal to go to an Irish international matches wearing english club gear and incredibly having english club names embarrassingly emblazoned on tricolours?

Passion? Have you ever been to a domestic game? I could give you a hundred examples when the passion and atmosphere is better than at Lansdowne.

Oh yeah and the product is there.

Blaming the FAI is too easy.

    Have a read of this:
