Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any particular time which you find to be the best time to get up? I was up at 6am this morning and felt fresh as a daisy. Got loads done aswel. Normally I wouldnt get up until later but it feels natural to be awake at this time.

It's fully bright at 5. Try getting up at 6 on a winter's morn.

I go to bed between 10+12, and get up at 8am.
    That works out fine.
I'd love to be an early riser - get up with the sun, maybe go for a run or swim - but I just am not a morning person, no matter how hard I've tried to be!

I go to bed between 1am and 2 am and get up between 7am and 8am, each morning.

Apparently our bodies generally function best when we get up at sunrise and go to sleep when it gets dark, though someone more scientifically knowledgeable may know if this has been debunked.

Seemingly 20 July is a good time to rise this year.

That probably works well in the Tropics, where the length of the sunrise-sunset period is almost the same all year round. But you'd have a hell of a job doing it in Lapland, where the sun rose a couple of weeks ago and won't set again until well into August.:):)

There was an experiment carried out in a cave in France, where a guy lived without seeing or being aware of natural light for months on end. His "natural" body clock had him waking at 10am.

I'd store up my nuts and hibernate for the winter, then go crazy and gorge on them for the summer and have all-day/night raves :).

Our circadian rhythms are all a bit different though.
I need pills to keep mine in sync with the world - without pills, I naturally wake up late afternoon and go to sleep about 6am.
