Hi. I am currently on maternity leave and am going into the bank this week to enquire about a mortgage moratorium. Can anyone tell me what kind of information they look for from you? How long do these applications typically take? Or does it depend on the institution/branch? My husband is currently not working, and we didn't apply before now as we thought he would be working by now (long story). Mortgage is with AIB. I just want to ensure I am ready for the application to minimise delay as I've to notify work soon of my decision re taking unpaid leave or not.
