why?

its not a gaming PC at all.

the 2550K is a stupid CPU.

the 6450 is what I have running in my server. its a passive cooled card with a 27W tdp. along with the G630, it scores about P600 in 3D Mark 11. that's in the region of mid level laptops. not good for anything but movies.

whats your budget op?

2550k is 3.4 ghz. wouldnt that be good for games. best i5
budget lets say is 800 delivered to the door.
a 24 inch screen wouldnt be the wrost thing in the world
preaferaly want an nvdiva

for giggles I built it up on hardwareversand.de

I'd do a tidy link to it, but I'm on my phone and it doesn't like javascript. it comes to just under €600.

however, its definitely not how you should spend 600.

800 is the budget , can you make it to be a good v gaming pc for 800

Wouldn't the 450W PSU be too weak for that setup, or is the 6870 fairly low when it comes to wattage?

It should easily handle it, but here's a 550W version for a tenner more if you want to be safe.

Yeah you should go for an nVidia card if your looking to use it with linux.
A GTX 560ti or GTX 560 are the two cards around the 6870 in-terms of price performance. The 560ti being a better card than the plain 560 but also more expensive.

Or if your willing to wait a 600 series card should be out soonish in that price range.

You're looking at 200 for the 560ti, which is a bit close to 7850 prices (again, Linux problems though), so I'd wait for the 660ti and see what it's like.

very quickly it say the i5 2500k is delivery time is days .(out of stock)
If i buy it now will they send it all out together?

Also do they build it ? or do i ? , does them building it cost extra

Get a better case, that one looks terrible. Depending on your tastes, the Bitfenix merc or Xigmatek Asgard would be a much better choice.

Looks almost exactly like my build. Have a look :O
I had a 330 Coolermaster case before so I'm sticking with them (getting a 430 this time) because they do really good cases. The screwless design is so handy for opening to clean/upgrade components.
