Cant have the booze out in open view lest people cannot control themselves.
    In practice... loving the swish...

In other news I got a mini can of wd40 for 1.50 in dealz for the glove compartment.
Handy for sticky doors or when you cant open the full size wd40 :)

Yip was in Supermarkets in Barcelona and Madrid back in 2019 and 2020 (ancient history now of course) but my brain nearly exploded at the price of beers 5, 6%+.

Their electronic tennis racket style fly zappers are much better quality nowadays.

Have to block off the alcohol outside of licencing times. The puritans have some reason for insisting on it...

Childproof locks. Or corridors of shame.

Cash registers are programmed not to process alcohol outside licensing hours so you can't buy it even if the cashier tried.

Loads of stuff gone since Brexit.

Was in Poundland (Dealz in the UK) last week and they had loads of stock of stuff that isn't making it into Irish stores anymore.

Wake me up when it's all over.

They haven't had new ones here for a good long while either. They're still working on one box of fruit and nut and two boxes of milk chocolate, nearly empty by now.

I saw plenty in carrickmines a few weeks ago, not sure what types of them but at least 2 different ones. They stood out to me as they were only a euro rather than 1.50. They all show as 1euro on the website too.

    They've been a euro since 2019!

Would this work to plug gaps in window frame? Or should I get something better?

The 151 range is a cheap range of product suitable for basic jobs.

For window frames I'd go for something better. My own preference is Tec7

yeah I noticed that as I used to always get 3 of the smaller 250ml cans of coke for 1.50 but its now gone to two of them with no reduction in price. Pity as it was a good deal but now its not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87,186 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Only if paying more is a "bargain" more just a vent rant from me but Dairy Box is €2.50

I've seen a few places taking advantage of the media's coverage of supply chain issues and staff shortages as an excuse for lower quality service and price increases.
