Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This story is heartbreaking. How you could do that to your own mother is beyond me. What makes a person snap to that extent? It's not the first time the like of this crime has happened in this country and sadly I don't think the last either. So AH what are your thoughts on this if any?

    He has suffered from severe mental problems in the past according to other news sources.

    It doesn't mention murder anywhere in that article btw.

    Woman dies in suspicious circumstances on her own property and son is currently being held for it so whether the article mentions murder or not it's a bit of a foregone conclusion. Also if he had psychiatric problems why weren't they addressed?

    Title amended to "death" rather than "murder" even though he is just charged with "causing serious harm" at this stage.

    Since this case is ongoing I'm closing the thread.
