You have a serious case of GGS.... ;)

Prescription for you is to stand in a cold shower fully dressed with a window wide open and/or a fan on cold full blast.
    ...sorry but GGS???

After some heavy rain late last night, a good day with plenty of sunshine, showers all passed Ashford by (though was caught in a brief but heavy shower in Wicklow Town this evening).

    High around 17c.

Looking forward to another good day tomorrow before the weekly Thursday deluge hits!

...if you are experiencing rain, wind or ANY kind of umsummery weather in Ireland now, today or tomorrow be GRATEFULL !!! An hour and a half ago (5:00a.m.) it was 27.C here in NYC. The high is forecast near 37.C with humidity to match, this will be a 4 t-shirt day. How I wish I was standing in a rainy, wet, damp, moist bog, field or boreen with the rain pouring down on top of me because THAT would feel a thousand times more comfortable that what is being felt here now, today and tomorrow. (Keep your "wet Irish summer" comments to yourselves and be happy you are not experiencing this...this...most uncomfortable weather !!!!!!) M.T. Cranium help..........................................

Like some sort of sick joke the bulk of the rain passed over on the radar but it left behind a small patch of precip. Which seems to have stalled and joined up with another band moving up from the south.

After a very wet night and morning with very poor visibility (couldn't even see the top of the pylons running along the road)its cleared up this pm (sun even appeared briefly).

Now the rain is back, only light atm thankfully!

The rain is still coming down heavy in Dublin 4 at the moment. Depressing weather to be honest - the last number of summers were not great, but this seems much worse.

'Torrential Thursday' to be followed by 'Tuesday Tease' with promise of lovely sunshine to last for weeks!!!

I've written off Thursday/Fridays after the last few weeks, I'll had a total of over 150mm including today on the last 4 Thursdays
