Heavy rain, thunder and lightning in Waterford City.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,634 ✭✭✭✭Graces7

Woken around 1.30 am by thunder and deluges. Rescued the dogs from the shed where they sleep and had to wade through several inches of water to do so. Still deluging; ah well, I reckon that that is my garden finished... West Cork.

As I went out of the door wondered if it hurts to be struck by lightning as it was flashing all around me...

    Power on and off..

Relentless rain, sweeping visibly in,,,, Last night; see the thunder thread. Cork is flooded. We are fine, apart from the garden and laneway.

Beautiful day here in Dublin. Temps up to around 22 Celsius with good sunny spells and no rain whatsoever - yet!*

All this week has actually been really pleasant in Dublin. Not much rain, lots of sun, and summer-like temperatures.

*I got up at 9am today so dunno what it was like earlier in the morning lol.

A chilly but dry moning here in West Cork. A brisk breeze.

All is very quiet; the electric fence was struck by lightning and the cattle scattered.

Please God for quieter days ahead,

Only one God; the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. No heathen or pagan deities here ...Only one God. Cannot answer for Donegal, but any pagan demonic thing touching me would shrivel and die.
Holy Spirit-filled Holy Woman of God here.

    Over and OUT.

A bright and breezy day in Castlebar with plenty of showers, some heavy.Very cool for the time of year with a fresh to strong NW breeze.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,899 ✭✭✭✭Discodog

The radar is unusual in that there are lines of showers but a lot of them are very heavy. They are also forming over land. I checked the radar & it was clear to the West over the sea. I went outside to do some work & it suddenly tipped down. A shower had appeared during the 15 min radar update !
