I have a large Red Setter and i keep her as an outside dog.
We have young children in the family and not a very big house.
She has plenty of food and fresh water, a large kennel with blankets and toys, plenty of affection and wanders into the house from time to time during the day.
Is this okay? As she seems to prefer it outside.

    Thanks :D

red setter should not have any problems with living outside, its only the short hair types, like bullies ect that dont do well in extreme conditions

is he getting a very long walk with some time off the lead every single day ? This would be vital for an Irish Setter . . .
